On January 6, 2009 the Mendocino Unified School District created a 7-11 Committee of community residents to advise and make recommendations to the MUSD Board about the potential disposition of surplus school district property. To accomplish this task, the committee is to consider both the school district facility needs and obtain  community input about desired current and future use for any surplus property that the school district owns. One of the properties that may be considered surplus is the Historic Grammar School, now being used as the Mendocino Community Center. This property is currently leased by the Mendocino Park and Recreation for community use. All suggestions and comments from the community are encouraged and may be sent to 7-11@mcn.org.

7-11 Committee Final Report

The 7-11 Committee has written its report to the MUSD Trustees. This document will be presented to the MUSD Board at their October 15, 2009 meeting.
